Magnetic Nanocrystals

DESCRIPTION

We provide research grade magnetic nanoparticles that are highly customizable to application spaces. Our particles are highly monodisperse with each batch coming with full size characterization of thousands of measurements. Certified images are provided for each nanoparticle stock. The nanoparticle dispersions remain stable in hexanes over long periods and can be utilized in many dispersed systems with low agglomeration.

OPTIONS

We offer a wide range of materials with sizes and magnetic property offerings dependent on the desired system. Our processes offer particle samples of both transition metal and transition metal oxide nanoparticles in both the ferromagnetic and superparamagnetic phases. Dopant metals are also being made available.  Representative offerings include:

Ferrite Oxides: Fe3O4 and Fe2CoO4

o   Sizes offered: 4nm to 12nm (average diameter +/- 0.5nm)

o   Dispersion: 0.2

o   Option: superparamagnetic or ferromagnetic

o   Highly stable even in air

Metal: Ni

o   Sizes offered: 8nm to 30nm (average diameter +/- 0.5nm)

o   Dispersion: 0.2

o   Superparamagnetic

o   Surface option: inert or reactive

o   Highly stable even in air

Metals: NiO, FePd, FeCo, and FePt

o   Avg. diameter: 7nm

o   Dispersion: 0.2

o   Superparamagnetic

o   Highly stable in dispersion
